01

Who we are

This website, noitstrategy.com (the “Site”), is operated by N.O. IT Strategy LLC (“N.O. IT Strategy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an IT strategy and fractional IT leadership firm based in Roseburg, Oregon.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It does not cover information we receive while delivering services to a client. That information is handled under the written agreement with that client.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us

We only receive this information when you choose to send it.

  • Contact form: your full name, work email, phone number, and what prompted you to reach out.
  • White paper request form: your name, email address, and company, so we can send you the paper you asked for.
  • Trust Center document request form: your full name, email address, organization name, and any notes you add.
  • Email and phone: whatever you include when you email info@noitstrategy.com or call 458.262.5571.
  • Meeting requests: if you schedule time through our Microsoft Bookings page, the details you enter there, such as your name, email address, and the time you pick.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically by our analytics, security, and hosting tools:

  • Device and browser details, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size.
  • Usage details, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Interaction details, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement on our pages, collected by our session recording and heatmap tool.
  • An approximate location (such as city or region) derived from your IP address.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or health information through the Site. Please do not include it in a form or email.

03

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests, including follow-up about the topic you contacted us about.
  • Send the white papers and Trust Center documents you request.
  • Schedule and prepare for conversations you book with us.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve our content and make pages easier to use.
  • Protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • Keep business records and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
04

How we share information

N.O. IT Strategy LLC does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

We use service providers to run the Site. They receive only the information they need to provide their service to us:

  • Website hosting: Bluehost hosts the Site, including the information submitted through our forms.
  • Forms and email delivery: our WordPress form tool (SureForms) collects and stores form submissions on the Site, and an email delivery plugin sends form notifications to us by email.
  • Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions to block automated abuse.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics measures Site traffic and usage, and Lucky Orange provides session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors interact with our pages.
  • Cookie consent: CookieYes displays our cookie banner and remembers your privacy choices.
  • Fonts: Google Fonts delivers the typefaces used on the Site, so your browser connects to Google servers when pages load.
  • Embedded video: some Strategic Briefings include videos hosted on YouTube. YouTube may collect information when you view or play an embedded video.
  • Scheduling: Microsoft Bookings handles meeting requests made through our booking page.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or other business transfer, in which case the information would remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

05

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The Site and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies for these purposes:

  • Consent: CookieYes sets a cookie (cookieyes-consent) that remembers your privacy choices for up to one year.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that distinguish visitors and count page views. These last a little over one year.
  • Session recording and heatmaps: Lucky Orange may use cookies or similar browser storage to understand how visitors move through our pages.
  • Embedded video: YouTube may set its own cookies on pages that include a YouTube video.

Your choices

  • Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our cookie banner to opt out of non-essential tracking.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work, though some features may not.
  • Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits on any site.
06

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions, emails, and meeting details only as long as we need them for the purposes described in this policy. That includes responding to you, keeping records of our business relationships, and meeting legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When we no longer need the information, we delete it.

Analytics and other service providers keep the data they collect according to their own retention settings and policies.

07

How we protect information

The Site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and our forms use spam protection. Access to form submissions is limited to N.O. IT Strategy and the service providers listed above. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Residents of California, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
  • Get a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions allowed by law.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling. We do not do these things, but you can still tell us your choice.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
  • Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

How to make a request

Email info@noitstrategy.com or call 458.262.5571 and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond to requests from any visitor, not only residents of states with these laws. To protect your information, we may need to confirm your identity, usually by matching the email address you used with us. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you, and we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized.

We aim to respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision. If you are not satisfied with the result of an appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

09

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
